Chambers Bay is home to two practice centers available for use to those playing and those looking to practice. Use of the Warm Up Range (by the turnstand and 1^st/10^th tee) includes a full driving range with putting and chipping areas. The use of this range is included with your green fee. Our Academy Practice Center is the home of the Chambers Bay Academy. The use of this full range with pitching/chipping areas and large putting green is available with all Academy programs or by purchasing a Day Pass at the Golf Shop for $30. This fee is an unlimited daily pass.

Chambers Bay is a walking-only course. While the use of a caddie is not required, our experienced caddies can help you get the most out of your round with yardage information, club selection and detailed knowledge of each carefully crafted hole. Our mission is to enhance your experience and caddies help improve the flow of the game for you and your playing partners when carrying two bags.

All caddie payments are to be paid directly to the caddie. Our caddies average $100+ per bag, per round. We encourage our guests to base the payment on the service provided and ultimately, the amount of any gratuity is determined at the sole discretion of the guest. The average caddie payment should be for a job well done.

Group caddie services are also available. A group caddie works with all players in your group without carrying a bag. As opposed to a forecaddie, our group caddie stays with your group and does not walk ahead. He or she will describe the best play for each hole, assist with yardages, help around the greens, tend the pin and perform any other duties required. If your group is a foursome or threesome then we recommend a payment of $40+ per player based on the level of service. If your group is a twosome, recommended caddie payment is $50+ per player. The average caddie payment should be for a job well done.

Guests are permitted to make independent arrangements for caddies outside the Chambers Bay caddie program.

TaylorMade rental clubs are available for $60 per day. Rental sets include TaylorMade woods, irons, putter, and two sleeves of TaylorMade golf balls. Reserve by contacting the Golf Shop at (253) 460-4653 x5 or by completing this form.

Personal pull-carts are welcome at Chambers Bay. Riksha pull-carts are also available on-site and are included with your green fees. While the pull-carts utilized at Chambers Bay are designed for minimal wear, we ask that they not be pulled across putting surfaces (inside sprinkler heads).

Chambers Bay may approve the use of a cart for a guest that has been diagnosed and is currently being treated for a permanent disability as defined by the Americans with Disability Act. Golf cart usage requires prior approval (at least 48 hours in advance of starting time). Outside golf cart use is not permitted at Chambers Bay. To preserve the course, the use of a caddie is mandatory with all golf carts. The caddie’s base fee and gratuity are the player’s responsibility in addition to the golf cart rental fee.
